Our Approach-
We don’t treat the word photojournalism loosely as it’s become such a common phrase in today’s wedding photography and very often inappropriately used. It’s true, 75% of what we do here at Swank, is documentary in nature. The mere fact that our wedding collections always include our services for the whole day is suggestion enough that we are true photojournalists. We document your day as it unfolds; beginning to end. The other 25% is what we’ve come to be known for, our artistically contrived images. These are the editorial/ edgy images that keep our clients asking for more.
We take our work very seriously with our end product, your heirloom wedding album and portrait, close at heart. However, the serious nature of what we do, the service that we provide, by no means does this interfere with our fun demeanors. There is always an element of candid playfulness while documenting our clients. Our penchant for relating to our clients ultimately puts them at ease and in the end yields beautiful portraits.
We embrace new ideas and ventures. We’re ultimately striving to create the most unique images; beautifully. Our client is usually the adventurous type that wants us because of our art, how we portray people, and for our high-end products.
We are available in studio by appointment only. We welcome people year round and do travel on assignments and for destination weddings. Our wedding full day coverage wedding collections start at $4,ooo. We look forward to hearing from you!
